Marco Plush

Baby Marco!

This is somewhat a prototype of a pattern I'm still adjusting.

He is about a foot tall and 17 inches across.

The microfleece which I used for the body was hand dyed. I was real worried since everyone and their mom was telling me it doesn't take color well, but it turned out perfect.

Took me about three weeks to design the pattern and sew the piece. I had to rush a bit so I could get it done in time to take it to a con.

Which I shouldn't have because only ONE person realized who it was suppose to be. People were calling Marco all kinds of things from pokemon to kraken. Yes someone thought it was a Kraken. I wept a little. So thank you person I was too nervous to have a proper conversation with for making me feel like I didn't utterly fail.

Please tell me what you think, Im really trying to learn but this is only my fourth time sewing, so be gentle with me.


Materials: Polyester/Rayon Gabardine, Microfleece, fleece and felt.
